Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after a report from the Daily Mail suggests that Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang are willing to offer Wilfried Zaha £44m in wages to play for them.
The Ivorian would see his £130k-a-week wages tripled by the side managed by former Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster, and would also see him earn an £11m annual salary, making him one of the world’s highest paid players.
Zaha has only recently signed a new long-term contract with the Eagles, and his importance to the south Londoners is paramount to their battle to remain as a Premier League club.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below...
However, it seems unlikely that the 26-year-old would uproot his young family and take them to China when they are so settled in London – Zaha even struggled with homesickness during his time in Manchester, so moving to Dalian seems ridiculous.
It seems as if a fair few Palace fans would agree with that statement too…
